IMAGEBROWSERPRO / METADATA & DELIVERY
An image is only part of a professional handoff. Captions, names, credit, rights information, and delivery choices help the next person understand and use the work.
CAPTION WITH THE PICTURE IN VIEW
The metadata workspace brings EXIF, IPTC, and XMP information together with the photograph. Enter captions, photographer information, credit, copyright, and keywords while reviewing the frame they describe.
Describe the event and identify the people, place, and relevant context. Review spellings and factual details before delivery.
Keep photographer, credit, and copyright information with the metadata you prepare for the receiving publication or client.
Apply useful terms that help describe and retrieve the photographs. Use consistent information across a related set.
REPEAT THE STRUCTURE, NOT THE TYPING
Core Template Builder lets you build, preview, save, and apply reusable filename and IPTC metadata templates. Variables and EXIF values can carry information into the template without manually retyping each value.
Expand shorthand into repeated text and enter metadata with keyboard-driven tools. They are useful when an assignment repeatedly calls for the same names, organizations, or phrases.
Templates and shortcuts handle repetition. You still check that the result accurately describes the selected photograph and fits the destination.
PREPARE THE HANDOFF
Prepare delivery exports from your selections. If the job calls for a watermark, choose a reusable text or logo watermark and opt in for the batch export.
Workflow packages can collect originals, existing XMP sidecars, delivery exports, and a manifest into a local package for a structured handoff.
FTP delivery, WordPress DAM, and cloud storage workflows support connected work. Configure the destination and account access for the service you use.
EXTEND WHEN THE ASSIGNMENT CALLS FOR IT
Common browsing, review, metadata, ingest, and export tools live in the main application. The optional Bulk Metadata Injector adds destination-specific IPTC/XMP preparation. Choose specialized tools around the assignment rather than rebuilding your everyday workflow.
Connected destinations require their own service access and internet connection. Check the receiving system’s requirements and review the delivered files before considering the handoff complete.
